Cake Production Team Member – Cake Factory

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cake Production Team Member to join our busy bakery manufacturing team.
This role is responsible for the preparation, mixing and baking of cakes at our production factory. You will work as part of a team to ensure our cakes are produced consistently, efficiently and to our high-quality standards.
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and weighing ingredients according to recipes and production requirements
- Mixing cake batters using commercial mixing equipment
- Operating ovens and baking cakes to the required specifications
- Monitoring baking times, temperatures and product quality
- Ensuring cakes are consistently produced to the correct size, weight, texture and appearance
- Preparing production batches according to the daily production schedule
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Cleaning and maintaining production equipment and work areas
- Checking ingredients and reporting any quality or production issues
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Working closely with the production team to ensure orders are completed on time
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in cake production, baking or commercial food manufacturing
- Understands cake mixing, baking and production processes
- Can follow recipes and production specifications accurately
- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in product quality
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Understands the importance of food safety and hygiene
- Is physically capable of working in a production environment
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Is willing to learn our recipes, systems and production procedures
