We are a well-established medical centre located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, serving a diverse and multicultural patient community. We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team and provide high-quality, patient-centred healthcare services.
Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and medical history assessments to diagnose and manage a broad range of health conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic investigations, including pathology tests, imaging, X-rays, and other procedures.
Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, administer therapeutic interventions, and provide ongoing patient care.
Monitor patients’ progress and response to treatment, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
Provide preventative healthcare advice, including lifestyle, diet, exercise, and disease prevention guidance.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional, legal, and practice requirements.
Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers where appropriate, and exchange relevant medical information to ensure coordinated care.
Arrange hospital admissions and follow-up care when required.
Comply with professional, legislative, and public health obligations, including reporting notifiable diseases and other required notifications.
Participate in continuing professional development, clinical audits, accreditation activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with other GPs, nurses, administrative staff, hospitals, and community healthcare providers.
Deliver services in a respectful, culturally sensitive, and professional manner while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
