Support Worker – Eltham North
We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to support a participant in Eltham North.
The participant has dementia, so we are looking for someone who is patient, calm and understanding, with experience supporting people with dementia or memory-related needs.
Shifts available:
- Monday: 4–6 hours
- Several mornings during the week: 9:00am–12:00pm
- Ongoing shifts available
The support will include:
- Going to the gym and providing support during the session
- Community access
- Supporting with day-to-day activities
- Providing encouragement and reassurance
- Helping maintain a safe and positive routine
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting people with dementia or memory difficulties
- Is patient, friendly and reliable
- Can build a trusting relationship with the participant
- Is confident supporting someone in the community
- Is comfortable attending the gym
- Has NDIS/disability support experience
- Has a driver's licence and access to a reliable car
This would suit someone looking for regular, ongoing weekday shifts and who enjoys providing consistent one-on-one support.
