Experienced Furniture Removalist / International Export Packer – MR Licence
Overseas Packers & Shippers is looking for an experienced Furniture Removalist / International Export Packer to join our team.
We are a family-owned and operated business with over 50 years in the industry, specialising in professional packing, removals and international shipping.
Consistent Hours & Overtime Available
The position will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent full-time position for the right person.
Importantly, we can generally offer around 38 hours per week PLUS overtime.
We understand that consistent hours matter. While work across the removals industry can fluctuate, Overseas Packers & Shippers has been operating for over 50 years, and we are looking for someone who wants regular work and the opportunity to build a long-term future with our business.
About the Role
We are specifically looking for someone with solid furniture removals experience who is confident in international export wrapping and packing techniques.
Your duties will include:
- Professional furniture removals
- International export wrapping and packing
- Preparing furniture and household goods for overseas shipping
- Loading and unloading vehicles and shipping containers
- Protecting customers' furniture and belongings to a high professional standard
- Driving company vehicles as required
- Working alongside our experienced removals and packing team
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous furniture removals experience
- International export wrapping and packing experience
- A current MR driver's licence
- Good furniture handling and loading skills
- A strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Pride in doing the job properly and looking after our customers' belongings
