About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
RPA Neonatal ICU is a high-acuity tertiary service, which manages around 800-1000 admissions per year, including approximately 200 Level 3 neonates, inter-hospital transfers (including NETS retrievals), and high-risk antenatal transfers.
This role will involve a rotating 7 day roster including morning, afternoon and night shifts. The shifts are 8 hour AM/PM shifts and 10 hour night shifts. There is a possibility to transition to 12-hour shifts once you are established in the department and have demonstrated the required level of skill and competency.

Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night shifts.
- Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
