We are looking for a Health Records Team Leader at Kingston Scanning Centre.
Full Time Ongoing - ADO included/optional
Monday to Friday
6:30am-3pm
About the Role
The Health Records Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of an allocated portfolio within the Scanning Centre. The position provides leadership, support and direction to administrative employees to ensure health information is managed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with organisational, legislative and accreditation requirements.
The role is responsible for workforce management, operational performance, quality improvement, stakeholder engagement and the achievement of departmental key performance indicators. Working closely with the Scanning Centre Manager and key stakeholders, the Health Records Team Leader contributes to service innovation, digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement activities that support Monash Health's strategic objectives.
The Health Records Team Leader manages an assigned portfolio, with specific portfolio responsibilities detailed within the relevant Duty Statement and Position Description.
Direct Reports: Up to 22 employees
About You/ What You Need
Essential:
Demonstrated experience within Health Information Services, Medical Records or a healthcare administration environment.
Sound understanding of medical terminology and health information management principles.
Desirable:
Qualification in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Leadership or a related discipline.
Previous experience in a supervisory, coordinator or team leadership role.
Degree in Health Information Management.
