Your Role
As part of the deli and fresh food team, you will:
- Provide excellent customer service at the deli counter
- Slice meats, cheeses, and fresh food products
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, and ready-to-eat meals
- Weigh, pack, and label products accurately
- Maintain clean, attractive, fully stocked displays
- Rotate stock using FIFO procedures
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
- Assist across other supermarket departments when needed
- Support daily store operations and customer needs
About You

Experience That Helps (Not Essential)
Highly regarded experience includes:
- Supermarkets, deli, or fresh food environments
- Hospitality, cafes, bakeries, or food service roles
- Customer service or retail experience
- Food preparation and handling experience
- Use of deli slicers and kitchen equipment
- Food Safety Certificate, HACCP knowledge
No formal qualification required — attitude and reliability matter most.
