The position provides specialist and intensive case management services to young people who are at risk and residing in family-based settings, living independently, or in home-based care placements.
The service aims to strengthen the resilience of young people involved with Child Protection by delivering a specialised, outreach-based case management service. This includes family and placement support, educational support, and personal development programs, guided by an individualised package developed by Anglicare in collaboration with Child Protection.
- Demonstrated experience in case management and supporting young people at risk, including those with complex needs
- Ability to apply a range of intervention strategies to address individual and family issues (e.g. abuse, family breakdown, and relationship challenges)
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development to inform work with individuals and groups
- Strong intervention skills to respond to young people engaging in high-risk behaviours and/or from conflictual family environments
- Experience contributing to case planning, including development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
- Sound understanding of relevant legislation, policy, and frameworks relating to child protection and youth justice
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skill
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to program development and continuous improvement

A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work and/or related behavioural sciences at degree level with relevant experience; or diploma level with substantial experience.
- Salary at SCHCADS Level 5 (starting at $100,776 + super)
- Full-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2027 with a possibility of extension
