Join Our Growing Team – Experienced Cabinet Maker / Installer
We are a growing joinery and fit-out business looking for an experienced and motivated Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team.
We undertake a wide range of projects, including:
- Residential kitchens and custom joinery
- Commercial fit-outs
- Retail and hospitality fit-outs
- Office and workplace joinery
- Washroom upgrades, including in-house toilet partitions
- Custom cabinetry and joinery installations
We have a great range of clients and take pride in delivering quality workmanship. Our workshop is equipped with CNC machinery and modern 3D drawing/design software, providing opportunities to work across different areas of the joinery trade.
About the Role
We are looking for someone with solid practical experience in cabinet making and/or installation who can work independently as well as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good general knowledge and experience in the cabinet making/joinery trade
- Experience fabricating and assembling cabinets, drawers and other joinery components
- Knowledge of hinges, drawer runners and other mechanical hardware
- Basic laminating and finishing skills
- Experience installing cabinets, benchtops and other joinery
- Good understanding of the tools and equipment used in cabinet making and installation
- Ability to read and work from drawings and plans
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients
- Ability to identify issues on site and problem-solve practical solutions
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and techniques
