Cellar, Stock Control & Maintenance Manager

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Cellar, Stock Control & Maintenance Manager to help keep our club running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a varied and active role, perfect for someone who takes pride in presentation, organisation, and keeping things in top condition.
You’ll play a critical part in ensuring our cellar operations, stock management, and venue maintenance meet the high standards our members and guests expect
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining the cellar, stock control, and general maintenance across the venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and operation of cold rooms and beer reticulation systems
- Manage stock control, including ordering support, rotation, and weekly stock level checks
- Ensure the accuracy of all incoming goods for the venue
- Oversee monthly stocktakes
- Manual handling
- Contractor management
- Ensure timely delivery, checking, and storage of all goods
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented club environment
- Carry out general maintenance tasks within your skillset and coordinate contractors when needed
- Support surf club operations (fuel, supplies, patrol support requirements)
- Manage waste and recycling systems (glass, cardboard, etc.)
- Liaise with Front of house staff regarding function and event setup
- Oversee the Cellar and Maintenance team
What You’ll Bring
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- A valid RSA
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in cellar operations, maintenance, or hospitality support (highly regarded)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage stock effectively
- Understanding of workplace health & safety practices
- A positive attitude and willingness to get the job done
Must have
- Valid drivers licence
- Must be available early mornings and weekends when required
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
