Kitchen Hand – Family-Run Café
We are a busy, family-run café looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our friendly team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment, takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and is happy to assist wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
● Assisting with general food preparation, including basic chopping, portioning and preparation of ingredients
● Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
● Maintaining a clean, hygienic and organised kitchen
● Cleaning benches, floors, equipment and food preparation areas
● Assisting kitchen staff during busy service periods
● Restocking ingredients and supplies
● Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
● Working efficiently and managing tasks during busy periods
● Communicating and working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team
● Helping with general café duties when required

Previous café or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential for the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
