National Pharmacies has an exciting opportunity as Health Services Administration Assistant, to support our growing Health Services team either Full time or 0.8 FTE for the right candidate.
The Health Services Administration Assistant is accountable for providing administrative support across the National Pharmacies’ Health Services portfolio and allied Health Services. Reporting to the Head of Health Services, the role is responsible for the maintenance of document registers, general pricing administration activities, stakeholder communication, reporting assistance, store and practitioner enquiries and preparation of operational reports. Be a part of a team that supports the community with Health Services that include Optical, Sleep Apnoea and Naturopathy. About the Role
Health Services Admin, Reporting & Coordination
Maintain accurate service records, documentation and operational information.
Assist Health Services team in preparing operational reports.
Support pricing updates and reporting requirements.
Policy, Procedure & Compliance
Update document registers and update documents as directed.
Assist with document reviews and compliance administration.
- Process approved pricing updates.
Practitioner & Store Support
Provide administrative support to Practitioners and Health Services teams.
Assist with onboarding documentation and practitioner records.
- Respond to store and practitioner enquiries and escalate where appropriate.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate communication between practitioners, stores, suppliers and support office teams.
- Support vendor administration and supplier relationships.
About You
Qualifications and/or experience
1-2 years previous experience in healthcare or retail customer service/admin desirable but not essential.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, learning and continuous improvement.
- Experience within health, pharmacy, optical or allied health environments desirable.
