No two days are the same, in this role you’ll be directly impacting the guest experience, working closely with an experienced team, and delivering Food and Beverage service.
You would be working alongside a multiskilled, experienced team within Food & Beverage department.
Creating exceptional guest experiences in all interactions with our guests.
Ensuring all guests receive a friendly, warm welcome, prompt attention along with quick, efficient service.
Set up and maintain all service areas & stations with sufficient mise en place for the length of service.
Ensure orders are promptly prepared and carried to the guests appropriately.
Undertaking general waiting duties for food or beverages or both, including cleaning tables.
Demonstrate exemplary menu & product knowledge and be familiar with all items on menus available.
Demonstrate responsible service of alcohol to all patrons at all times.
Exhibit exemplary personal behaviour, appearance, and attitude.
Ensure tables and chairs are correctly positioned for each seating and that all chairs, seats, and floor are spotlessly clean before the arrival of each guest and to be maintained during service.
Preparing espresso-based coffee drinks, such as long black, flat white, caffè latte and cappuccino
Preparing other beverages, including tea and hot chocolate.
Keep the barista area clean and following a procedure to thoroughly clean the equipment at the end of the day.
Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
Check if equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios).
Run food to the tables where required.
Help clear tables and stations.
When required, maintain the security of any outlet keys or cash float signed out.
Operate the computer terminal ordering and billing systems as required.
