Your Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, we are recruiting a remote
Senior Contracts Administrator to support our large-scale Tunnel lining/ FRP scope in remote NSW. We are looking for a proactive individual who will be responsible for Claims compilation and management including disruption, EOT’s claims as well as providing technical support and upstream Head Contract Management. This role is offered as full time remote with ad hoc site travel.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with claims requirements, including compiling, drafting and substantiating extensions of time, disruption, and variation claims with varying methodologies
- Collaborate with site teams to confirm details for the compiling and submission of extensions of time, payment claims, disruption claims and variations
- Claim Management including assessment and submission of progress claims (upstream and downstream) at end of month.
- Ensuring contract compliance with regards to contractual provisions and notice time frames
- Daily, Weekly and monthly cost reporting to our client
- Work autonomously as well as provide mentorship to junior commercial team
- Oversee change register and work closely with clients commercial team to ensure timely closeout of change events/variations
- Involved in preparation and issuing of RFQ documentation including all related attachments/information and timeframes required for issue of documentation
To be successful, you will have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering – Preferred
- At least 10 years+ experience in a similar position working for a Civil Contractor on a large-scale infrastructure project ($50-100M)
- Claim Management experience – A must
- Ability to travel to the project site on an ad hoc basis
- Solid understanding of methods of delay and disruption
- Cost control and reporting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
