In this role, you'll:
Supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of software releases for Transport for NSW, ensuring changes are implemented accurately and on time. The role focuses on assisting with deployment activities, change management processes, and continuous improvement of release practices.
Key duties include preparing release plans, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors, managing change approvals (e.g. ServiceNow and CAB), verifying releases, and supporting post-implementation reviews. The role also helps improve tools and processes while contributing to maintenance and project-based deployments.
Success requires strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with knowledge of software release management and the SDLC. The role operates in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, requiring effective stakeholder management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

About you
The role is responsible for delivering tasks on time and meeting quality standards, escalating major decisions to management. It has no direct reports and operates within established financial and reporting frameworks.
It requires knowledge of software release and change management, the software development lifecycle, and experience with relevant technologies and tools used in deployments.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with relevant qualifications or experience in software deployment or configuration management.
