The Role & The Team
This is a great opportunity to play a key role in strengthening technical governance, compliance, and assurance across CNS asset management, while working closely with engineering, operations, and service providers.
In this role, you will:
- Support and strengthen compliance with CNS technical standards, CASR Part 171 and internal governance frameworks
- Maintain and uplift the technical compliance register and assurance mapping
- Conduct risk-based assurance activities (desktop and field reviews)
- Drive awareness and education of standards and regulatory changes
- Contribute to competency frameworks for CNS engineering and maintenance
- Engage with Asset Service Providers (ASPs), System Technical Advisors and key stakeholders to improve outcomes

We’re keen to hear from people who:
- Have experience in CNS systems, engineering, or technical asset management
- Understand or can quickly build knowledge of technical governance, standards, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. CASR 171, TMS, SMS)
- Bring strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Are proactive, analytical, and comfortable working in a risk-based assurance environment
- Have (or are working towards) a relevant engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent experience
- Influence enterprise-level technical assurance and compliance outcomes
- Build exposure across engineering, operations, and regulatory interfaces
- Be part of a high-performing assurance and compliance function
