Café All-Rounder / Barista – Tumbles Playhouse (Williamstown North)

Hours: Weekdays, Weekends & School Holidays (flexible roster)
Tumbles Playhouse is a busy indoor play centre and café. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic experienced Café All-Rounder / Barista to join our team, including basic food preparation duties.

About the Role
This role combines café work with general playcentre support. You will be part of a small, supportive team helping create a fun and welcoming experience for families visiting our venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality barista-style coffee and hot/cold drinks
- Take customer orders and operate the POS (cash & EFTPOS)
- Prepare and serve light meals, snacks and café items
- Maintain cleanliness of café, kitchen and seating areas
- Clear tables, wash dishes and assist with general cleaning
- Support busy weekend service and birthday party sessions
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to families and children
- Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming playcentre environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista / café experience is required
- Previous kitchen experience is required.
- Ability to make consistent, high-quality coffee in a busy environment
- Friendly, positive and reliable personality
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods
- Team player who is happy to help wherever needed
- Weekend availability is essential
- Availability during school holidays is highly valued
