This is an opportunity for an experienced HR leader who enjoys working close to the business, influencing practical outcomes and shaping people solutions in a purpose-driven, high-performance environment. You will bring energy, judgement and HR expertise with the confidence to lead complex matters, while also coaching leaders.
Work alongside passionate colleagues, empowering a small HR team and contributing to workforce strategies that help shape the people practices that support extraordinary sporting success.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Lead strategic workforce planning, talent mapping and succession initiatives to anticipate capability needs, strengthen talent pipelines, enable long-term organisational performance that adapts to changing internal priorities and external factors (i.e. adoption of AI).
Provide confident, contemporary advice on public sector employment relations and regulatory requirements, translating legislation, policy and guidelines into practical, efficient solutions across performance, workplace change and health and safety matters.
Build trusted relationships and strategic partnerships across the sport and public sector systems to align people strategies, navigate shared challenges and strengthen organisational outcomes.
Drive innovative, fit-for-purpose HR initiatives, policies and programs that solve emerging business challenges, enhance workforce outcomes and deliver practical, future-focused people solutions.
Lead the case management of rare, complex and sensitive employment matters, including grievances, conflict, conduct, discipline, health issues and return to work, with sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach.
Lead and empower team members to deliver innovative, high-quality HR services and solutions that strengthen capability and elevate the line manager and employee experience.
