As the Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical information, engineering advice, and product specifications to sales teams, consultants, and customers. Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth, building customer relationships, and ensuring the successful application of HVACR equipment. Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies and play a crucial role in positioning the company favourably in the market.
Sales
· Provide technical advice to customers, consultants, and customers on the application of the company's HVAC&R equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
· Collaborate with the sales team to build equipment sales across the allocated region, offering technical advice and commissioning support to sales teams and customers to drive revenue growth.
· Design and select equipment, generating quotes as required for various projects within the region, with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering favourable margin results.
· Follow up on quotes generated through the sales team network to drive conversion rates and optimize sales performance.
· Support sales activities by actively participating in sales meetings, roadshows, and product launches, providing technical insights and expertise to enhance market positioning and sales results.
· Engage in proactive sales activities, including customer visits, presentations, and negotiations, to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
· Utilise CRM tools effectively to plan and report sales activities, ensuring a deep understanding of key customer requirements and optimizing sales processes for improved results.
· Participate in sales planning activities and meetings, contributing to accurate sales forecasts and strategy development, with a focus on achieving both sales and margin objectives.
· Identify specific product requirements aligned with customer needs and collaborate with relevant teams for successful delivery, while maintaining a focus on achieving margin targets and profitability.
Market Engagement
· Provide feedback to State Managers and National Sales Managers on sales opportunities within our existing and potential customer base, offering technical insights and market intelligence.
· Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and National Sales Managers to support product benchmarking against competitors, ensuring effective market positioning and quoting strategies.
· Assist in planning and executing various projects and programs requiring technical expertise to enhance market presence.
· Continuously enhance technical knowledge in the refrigeration sector to provide comprehensive support to the branch network and sales teams.
· Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product and service enhancements, providing valuable market feedback to the marketing team.
· Develop and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, including potential customers, partners, and suppliers, to support strategic decision-making and business expansion.
· Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential areas for growth, analysing competitor activities and market dynamics for informed sales and marketing strategies.
Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
