Casual Bar Staff
The Cruising Yacht Club of WA is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Bar Staff to join our team, working across our Members' Bar and Private Function Room.
This is a varied and rewarding role in a friendly club environment. We are seeking team members who are flexible, customer-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Availability
Applicants must be available to work Monday to Sunday, including:
- Day shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekends
- Public holidays as required
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Pouring and preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Taking food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Serving meals and drinks
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Cleaning and restocking the bar
- Bar set-up, pack-down and lock-up
- Cash handling and balancing tills
- Assisting in other areas of the Club, including the kitchen and general cleaning when required
- Supporting and assisting other staff to ensure smooth operations
The successful applicant will be:
- Reliable, enthusiastic and motivated
- Friendly with excellent customer service skills
- Well presented with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to assist wherever required
- Capable of working in a busy hospitality environment
- Willing to complete required online courses
Essential Requirements
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- WA Approved Manager's Licence is preferred but not essential
