Join our team as a Senior Revenue Officer supporting the effective management of patient billing, debt recovery, cash management and financial reporting processes within a health service environment. Working under the Team Leader Revenue Services, you will provide expert advice on billing rules and compliance, manage debt and adjustment processes, and contribute to reconciliations, reporting and system administration to ensure accurate and efficient revenue operations.
The RSS is a business unit in SA Health and provides services throughout regional South Australia to support the six regional local health networks (LHNs). It employs around 260 people who work in 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, or in the RSS's three Adelaide offices.

How do you build effective working relationships and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders across an organisation?

Provide expert advice and operational support on patient billing, debt management, cash management and related financial processes, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and fees and charges frameworks.
Manage and maintain billing systems and processes (including Chiron fee tables, Direct Debit and DCSI billing), ensuring accuracy, timely processing and resolution of system or billing discrepancies.
Conduct financial analysis, reconciliations and reporting, including debtor reviews, accruals, journals, write-offs and trend analysis to support effective revenue management.
Contribute to audit, compliance and continuous improvement activities, including training staff, supporting process development, and enhancing financial and operational efficiency.
