Job Description
As a Kitchen Steward, you will be a key support to our culinary team, helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment that enables seamless service delivery. Working closely with our chefs and kitchen team and with availability for evening shifts, you will play an important role in supporting smooth daily operations.
Working closely with our chefs and kitchen team, you will be responsible for:

Maintaining cleanliness across all kitchen and food & beverage areas

Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards

Following correct food handling and sanitation procedures

Supporting basic kitchen preparation and ensuring mise en place is maintained

Assisting the broader kitchen team and supporting chefs during service

Contributing to efficient kitchen operations in a busy resort environment
Your work will directly support the delivery of high-quality dining experiences for our guests across the resort and Convention Centre.
Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards

Good time management and ability to multitask

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Positive, adaptable attitude in a fast-paced environment

Current driver’s licence

Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential

Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
