Our Boaties Bar & Grill serves modern Australian cuisine with a focus on fresh seafood, quality meats, and seasonal produce.
The Role:
We’re looking for a motivated and creative Chef who can:
- Prepare and present high-quality meals consistently across lunch and dinner service.
- Ensuring food preparation and presentation is of high-quality during preparation, cooking and serving stages.
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen, supporting a small, dedicated team.
- Contribute to menu planning, specials, and food safety compliance.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times.

About You:
- Trade-qualified Chef with relevant experience in a fast paced kitchen.
· Will be reliable, punctual, well presented, person with good food hygiene knowledge and a team player attitude.
· Be available to work days, nights and weekends and be available to work for an average 30-35 hours per week.
- Confident across grill, pans, fryer, and prep.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, well-organised, and passionate about quality food.
- Available to work weekends, evenings and public holidays and can start immediately.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cooking or higher
· 2 – 5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
· Drivers Licence
· Must be residing in / have long term accommodation in the Cairns area
