About The Role
Kinetic IT currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Advisor to join our HR Shared Services team, until the end of May 2027. This is a generalist role with a strong focus on HR case management, supporting a broad range of people matters from initial enquiry through to resolution.
Day to day, you will manage and coordinate a range of HR cases, providing timely advice, clear documentation, and practical guidance to managers and crew. You will help ensure each matter is handled consistently, confidentially, and in line with Kinetic IT’s values, policies, and employment obligations.
You’ll also act as a trusted first point of contact for general HR queries, delivering consistent and timely support.
Responsibilities will include
- Case management of employee relations and fitness for work cases.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with people managers to advise and coach on HR related matters to develop a solution based and proactive culture.
- Collaboration with our leaders to optimise efficiency and consistency across accounts.
- HR reporting, including compliance reporting, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Providing advice on current Australian industrial legislation including Awards interpretation.
- Mentoring and supporting HR Coordinators in handling day-to-day HR queries, helping build their capability.
What you’ll bring to the table
- HR/ER advisory experience with strong hands on case management experience
- Solid understanding of Fair Work, Awards, and ER/IR practices
- Ability to turn HR policies into practical, people focused solutions
- Confident communication skills with an ability to coach others and produce clear documentation
- Strong experience working with HRIS platforms and case management tools
