As an Aged Care Liaison Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our residential aged care service by coordinating communication, supporting residents, welcoming visitors and maintaining a safe and responsive environment.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Act as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, emergency services and external stakeholders

Coordinate communication between multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate information sharing

Support resident admissions, occupancy processes and visitor management

Maintain staffing rosters, prepare documentation, meeting minutes and administrative records

Coordinate ordering of supplies and assist with facility administration

Monitor site security through CCTV, visitor access and movement registers to help maintain a safe environment

Assist with newsletters, activities, events and general office coordination

Ensure documentation and information are managed confidentially and in line with organisational and accreditation requirements
Requirements for Success

Experience working in residential aged care, healthcare, community services or a similar customer-focused environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and staff

Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail

Confidence using Microsoft Office and electronic information systems

The ability to remain calm, professional and responsive in emergency or high-pressure situations
-
Knowledge of aged care quality standards and accreditation processes is highly regarded

A commitment to providing compassionate, respectful and person-centred service
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
