about this team
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Paid Media Specialist is responsible for driving performance and growth across paid digital channels, ensuring campaigns deliver against business objectives while providing a seamless guest experience across the full customer journey.
You’re comfortable being the key coordinator and performance lead for campaign delivery, responsible for translating strategy into execution through agency management, stakeholder alignment, creative briefing and performance analysis.
core responsibilities
- Support the execution of paid media campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display, Video, Paid Social and emerging digital channels.
- Manage campaigns end-to-end from briefing and planning through to activation, optimisation and reporting, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and aligned to business objectives.
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for agency partners, providing clear briefs, managing timelines, reviewing recommendations and ensuring campaigns are executed to a high standard.
- Partner with the Paid Media Lead and broader team to translate media strategy into actionable campaign plans and channel activity.
- Develop campaign briefs, asset requirements and timelines for Creative and Brand teams, ensuring channel-specific best practices and media requirements are clearly communicated.
- Coordinate the delivery of creative assets across both always-on (BAU) activity and key campaign moments, ensuring all deadlines are met and campaigns launch seamlessly.
- Monitor campaign performance and work closely with agency partners to identify optimisation opportunities that improve campaign effectiveness and deliver against key business KPIs.
- Analyse campaign and channel performance, identifying trends, insights and opportunities, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Support budget management, forecast tracking and campaign pacing to ensure media investment is managed effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Ecommerce, CRM, Brand and Creative to deliver integrated marketing campaigns and cohesive guest experiences.
- Prepare regular performance reporting and post-campaign analysis, clearly communicating results, learnings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay informed on industry trends, platform developments and emerging digital advertising opportunities, sharing relevant insights with the wider team.
- Test new and innovative advertising formats and tactics to drive growth and revenue for our eCommerce channel.
qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in Paid Media, Digital Marketing or Performance Marketing.
- You have strong experience of ad platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and other key performance marketing channels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience briefing creative assets and coordinating campaign deliverables across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting performance data to identify insights and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with web analytics and reporting platforms such as GA4, PowerBI, Looker Studio or similar reporting tools.
- Preferably experience working with or at media agencies and managing campaign delivery across multiple digital channels.
