Position: Dental Assistant - Orthodontic Practice

Type: Permanent or Casual (2-5 days per week)
About The Role:
Arc Orthodontic Specialists is a specialist orthodontic clinic in Burwood dedicated to exceptional patient care and creating beautiful smiles. We're looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Dental Assistant to support our orthodontist and help deliver a warm, professional experience for our patients.
We're open to both part-time and casual arrangements — let us know what works for you. This position is for 2-5 days per week.
The hourly rate will be dependent on experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Chair side assisting.
- Sterilising and preparing dental instruments.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Performing administrative tasks (i.e. answer phone calls & booking appointments).
Ideal Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic setting is advantageous (Dental Assistant Certificate III or IV is desirable)
- Fluent English required; additional languages (e.g. Mandarin, Cantonese) are a bonus given our patient base.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast learner, team player, good attention to detail
