We are looking for a hands on, community minded Maintenance Officer to join our team at Lakeside Village in Bibra Lake. If you take pride in a job well done, enjoy solving problems and want your work to have a positive impact on the lives of older Australians, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a full time permanent Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining our village buildings, grounds and facilities to ensure they remain safe, welcoming and well presented for residents and visitors.
You will undertake a broad range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks while delivering exceptional service to residents and contributing to a positive village experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing general maintenance and repairs across village facilities and common areas
- Supporting residents with approved maintenance requests within their homes
- Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Maintaining village grounds, equipment and shared facilities
- Monitoring contractor works and working with approved suppliers
- Ensuring all maintenance activities meet safety, legislative and quality standards
- Assisting with asset management, reporting and administrative tasks
- Contributing to sustainability initiatives across the village

About Lakeside Village
Located in the established lakeside suburb of Bibra Lake, Lakeside Village features beautifully maintained grounds, landscaped gardens and a range of quality community facilities including swimming pool and 2 community centers. About You:
We are looking for someone who brings practical maintenance experience together with a genuine commitment to customer service and community care.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance, trades or a similar role
- Strong practical skills across a variety of maintenance activities
- A proactive approach and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A valid Australian driver's licence
