ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Ceres Life brand is currently seeking a social-loving Content Creator/Editor who understands the power of content and how it can drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and commercial outcomes.
In this role, you will work closely with the wider Marketing team to bring our brand to life across social platforms. From concepting content ideas through to filming, editing, and graphic design where needed to ensure a seamless and elevated visual flow, you will be responsible for creating engaging, on-brand content that captures attention and resonates with our customer.
With confidence both behind and in front of the camera, you'll be responsible for identifying trends, developing creative concepts and producing content that is not only engaging, but designed to perform. You'll have a strong understanding of what the algorithms favour, what stops the scroll, and how to create content that drives reach, engagement and conversion.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience creating content for Meta and TikTok platforms (please include portfolio/examples of work and links to social pages)- Strong content ideation and concepting skills, with the ability to turn trends, customer insights and brand stories into engaging social content
- Deep understanding of performance creative principles, including how to create content that drives reach, engagement, watch time and conversion
- Strong knowledge of Meta and TikTok algorithms, platform best practices and the content formats that drive performance
- Confidence filming, editing and producing content from concept through to execution
- Advanced short-form video editing skills, including hooks, pacing, music selection, text overlays, captions and platform-native editing techniques
- Graphic design experience preferred, with the ability to create on-brand social assets and a strong eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling
- Strong understanding of storytelling, audience retention and what captures attention within the first few seconds
- Ability to use insights and learnings to continually optimise future content
- Confidence being in front of the camera and creating authentic, engaging content that reflects the Ceres Life brand
- Highly organised, commercially minded and able to manage multiple content projects while working collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
