Primary objective
This is a customer-centric role that is responsible for providing training and support services across several business systems.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Design, develop and deliver effective, flexible, and engaging learning solutions to build capability across a diverse customer
base.
2. Develop and publish high quality eLearning and digital content using the Agency’s content authoring tools and Learning
Management System (LMS).
3. Deliver business systems training in accordance with facilitator guides, and established training standards and processes.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure training and support services align with customer
requirements.
5. Provide second-level support as part of the business systems resolver group, assisting with system-related queries and issues.
6. Evaluate training effectiveness using surveys, feedback, observation and other assessment methods and use insights to inform
continuous improvement.
7. Design and provide advice on the development of training materials and resources.
8. Lead and / or contribute to business systems training projects/initiatives.
9. Promote continuous improvement and a customer centred approach to service delivery.
10. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken
to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, with the ability to apply these to instructional design and training
delivery.
2. Experience in delivering a range of learning methods, including face to face training, virtual delivery, coaching and mentoring.
3. Proven experience designing and developing training material aligned to business needs.
4. Ability to evaluate training effectiveness through stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with
diverse groups.
5. Well-developed problem-solving skills, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to
work effectively with people from diverse cultures.
6. Demonstrated resilience, adaptability and a positive approach to change and uncertainty.
7. Strong focus on achieving outcomes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
8. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a complex and evolving environment.
9. Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work
independently.
10. Demonstrated work ethic and personal attributes consistent with DCDD values of commitment to service, innovation,

Desirable
1. Experience in clinical healthcare environment and/or the delivery of clinical systems training.
2. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent qualification).
3. Proven experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools to design, develop and
implement effective digital learning solutions.
