The Sales Administrator provides critical commercial, analytical, and operational support to the Sales function. This role ensures high-quality sales performance reporting, forecasting accuracy, end-to-end bid preparation, and continuous process improvement. The position acts as a central coordination point between Sales, Finance, Service Centres, and other operational teams to enable effective decision-making and strong business performance.
- Produce regular commercial performance reports, dashboards, and analysis to support Sales and Finance functions.
- Coordinate and consolidate sales forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business targets.
- Design, analyse, and manage sales target templates; facilitate target-setting
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Prepare and coordinate offers, tenders, and company bids in line with internal processes and governance requirements (e.g., Salesforce Sales process).
- Ensure alignment of bids with sales targets, pricing frameworks, and company commercial policies.
- Validate and document all financial assumptions, whole-life cost estimates, revenue projections, margins, risks, contingencies, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct risk assessments for each bid in accordance with company risk management procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bid information in relevant databases and systems.
- Support continuous improvement of bidding tools, templates, and processes.
- Ensure complete and accurate handover of bid documentation to the Service Centre Manager, Works Manager, Project Manager, or other relevant operational leaders upon contract award.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies across sales administration, forecasting, and bidding workflows.
- Develop and implement solutions to streamline processes and strengthen business operations.
- Drive transformation initiatives that support service growth and improved operational cohesion across the go-to-market functions.
- Strong experience in sales administration, commercial support, or business operations.
- Proven analytical and reporting capabilities, including experience with forecasting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience preparing bids, proposals, or tenders within a structured process environment.
- Proficiency in CRM and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, Power BI)
