ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join Cricket Australia as a Fan Activation Specialist within our Events & Operations team on a six-month term. In this role, you will help deliver memorable, engaging and high-quality experiences for cricket fans across our International Men’s and Women’s Cricket program.
You will lead the development and delivery of CA’s Activations Program, working closely with internal teams, venues and agency partners to create exciting in-venue and precinct experiences that grow and diversify cricket’s fan base.
Reporting to the Acting GM Events & Operations, you’ll be responsible for:
Leading CA’s partnership with key event activation agencies and support delivery of the International Event Activation Program.
Developing and coordinating planning materials including event overlays, risk documents, activation site maps, activity proposals and briefing materials.
Working with Event Delivery, Commercial Partnerships and agency partners to deliver engaging fan experiences across match days and venue precincts.
Representing the team in event planning meetings and communicate plans clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
Supporting post-event reviews, insights and continuous improvement to elevate the fan experience.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As the successful Fan Activation Specialist, you will bring:
Experience in major sports event delivery or at least two years’ experience in a similar role.
Confidence managing event planning, communications, agencies and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A collaborative approach, creativity and motivation to deliver exceptional experiences for fans.
You will also be comfortable working match days, weekends and interstate when required.
