An opportunity has presented itself for a safety-focused Maintainer to join our team based at our Perth Freight Terminal in Kewdale.
What You’ll Do

Perform wagon preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections

Respond to breakdowns and emergency recoveries on the rail network

Carry out heating, cutting and welding activities
-
Operate mobile plant, lifting equipment and vehicles
-
Fabricate and assemble components for repair or modification

Liaise with planners, contractors and operators to coordinate wagon movements

Support locomotive provisioning activities
What You’ll Bring
-
Heavy industry trade background (highly regarded but not essential)
-
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
-
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Current C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)

Forklift/MR Licence (advantageous)
-
Basic computer skills
-
Full training provided – bring a positive attitude, we’ll teach the rest.
