Job Description
A new exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to grow their career and to provide the best quality care for our patients.

You will be providing advanced clinical expertise as part of the Occupational Therapy department at the Joondalup Health Campus on a rehabilitation ward

You will provide evidence-based interventions that align with best practice guidelines to delivering outstanding care to our patients.

You will support junior staff members to grow and develop their clinical skills within the their caseloads.

You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our rehabilitation services, and drive service development.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following selection criteria:

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA

Demonstrated ability to provide Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention, discharge planning and patient-centred care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including effective communication with medical, nursing, allied health, families, caregivers and community services to facilitate coordinated patient care.

Experience in providing support, supervision and education to junior staff, assistants and students, and contribute positively to team functioning, service development and quality improvement activities.
