We are partnering with a well-established Australian apparel business to recruit a Quality Assurance Coordinator / Manager to join their growing product team.
This opportunity is open to both emerging QA professionals looking to step up and experienced Quality Managers seeking a broader category portfolio.
Working across menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, babywear and lifestyle products, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards throughout the product development and production lifecycle, ensuring products consistently meet brand, customer and compliance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quality assurance processes from development through to bulk production.
- Review and approve testing, specifications and quality standards across multiple product categories.
- Partner with offshore suppliers and factories to ensure quality expectations are achieved.
- Investigate and resolve quality concerns, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Monitor product compliance, testing requirements and industry standards.
- Analyse quality performance data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development, Technical, Production and Buying teams.
- Support the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures and best practices.
About You
- Previous experience within Quality Assurance, Technical, Production or Product Development in apparel, textiles or consumer goods.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, manufacturing and quality standards.
- Experience working with offshore suppliers and factories.
- Knowledge of product testing, compliance and quality control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across multiple categories and managing competing priorities.
