Plastic Solutions Australia (PSA) is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Account Manager to drive sales growth across Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected Australian business supplying innovative products and solutions to the building, construction, precast and tilt panel industries.
About the Role
Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities throughout Queensland. This role combines strategic account management with hands-on business development and requires someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sustainable growth across the Queensland region.
Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to increase sales.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the building and construction industry.
Establish monthly customer sales targets and monitor performance against budget.
Analyse sales trends, investigate significant changes, and provide action plans and recommendations.
Maintain regular contact with customers through planned account management activities.
Implement company pricing strategies while maximising profitability and customer value.
Provide product demonstrations, technical guidance and training to customers, or coordinate specialist technical support where required.
Promote complementary products and value-added solutions that meet customer needs.
Work closely with internal Customer Service, Operations and Production teams to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to maintain PSA's competitive advantage.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using the company's CRM system.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven success in B2B sales and account management.
Experience within the building, construction, manufacturing or industrial supply sectors.
Exposure to the precast concrete and tilt panel market will be highly regarded.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
The ability to identify opportunities and convert them into long-term business partnerships.
A strategic mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills.
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
A current Australian Driver's Licence.
