DKO is an award‑winning, multidisciplinary design practice of around 300 people, working across seven studios in Australia, New Zealand and South‑East Asia.
We collaborate across architecture, interiors, landscape architecture and urban design to deliver large‑scale multi‑residential, mixed‑use, workplace, hospitality and urban projects. DKO is seeking a talented Front-End Design Architect to join our Perth studio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a design-focused Architect with strong Australian project experience and a passion for creating exceptional multi-residential and mixed-use developments. Working alongside a highly regarded design team, you’ll play a key role in feasibility studies, concept design and design development on complex, high-profile projects across Perth and beyond.
- Contribute to feasibility, concept design and design development phases of projects
- Develop innovative architectural design solutions across multi-residential and mixed-use projects
- Prepare presentation material, design narratives and client presentations
- Collaborate with Project Leaders, consultants and internal design teams
- Participate in design workshops, client meetings and project reviews
- Assist in the coordination of planning and development approval submissions
- Support the delivery of high-quality architectural outcomes aligned with DKO’s design standards
- Maintain a strong understanding of local planning controls and design requirements
- Degree-qualified Architect or Graduate Architect
- Experience working on Australian multi-residential projects is essential
- Strong front-end design capability with exposure to concept design and design development
- Ability to communicate and present design ideas effectively
- Strong design and graphic presentation skills
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred but not required
- Understanding of local planning frameworks and development processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Passion for architecture, urban design and creating high-quality places
