We are seeking an experienced Fast Food Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our store and support the continued growth of the business.
About the Role
The Fast Food Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the business, including staff supervision, customer service, stock control, food safety, sales performance and store presentation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Determining the appropriate product mix, stock levels and service standards for the business.
- Monitoring customer demand and ensuring suitable food, drinks and related products are available for daily trade.
- Formulating and implementing purchasing policies, including ordering stock, managing supplier relationships and controlling wastage.
- Assisting with pricing decisions to support profitability while remaining competitive in the local market.
- Developing and implementing marketing and promotional activities to increase customer awareness and sales.
- Promoting and advertising the business’s goods and services through in-store promotions, local marketing and online platforms where required.
- Selling goods and services to customers and providing advice on available products, menu items, specials and suitable choices.
- Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, supplier purchases, sales, cash handling and other financial transactions.
- Undertaking budgeting for the establishment, including monitoring sales, labour costs, stock costs and operating expenses.
- Controlling the selection, training, rostering and supervision of staff.
- Ensuring staff provide efficient customer service and follow business procedures during peak trading periods.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, food safety procedures, hygiene standards and workplace policies.
- Handling customer feedback and resolving service or operational issues professionally.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must have:
- At least 1 year of experience in fast food, takeaway, quick-service restaurant, café, food retail or retail management.
- At least a Diploma-level qualification in business, leadership, management, hospitality management or a closely related field.
- Experience managing staff, rosters, stock control, ordering, customer service and daily business operations.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to manage stock levels, pricing, sales records and basic budgeting.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy customer-facing environment.
