Based at our Botany warehouse headquarters, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Storeperson / Order Picker Operator to join our growing operations team.
The Role
This is a hands-on warehouse role focused on accurately picking, preparing, loading, and returning furniture and event hire items for major events and installations.
The successful candidate must hold a current LPO (Order Picker) Licence and Working at Heights certification, and be confident operating order picker machinery within a busy warehouse environment while safely harnessed at heights.
You will work closely with the warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to ensure all event equipment is prepared accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking furniture, décor, styling items, and loose hire equipment for events
- Operating order picker machinery safely and efficiently
- Working safely at heights using harness equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Scanning, checking, and preparing inventory for dispatch
- Returning and restocking event hire items after events
- Assisting with warehouse organisation and stock movements
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the warehouse
- Assisting with stocktakes and inventory management
- Supporting the operations team during busy event periods
Skills & Experience
- Current LPO / Order Picker Licence (essential)
- Current Working at Heights ticket/certification (mandatory)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience within furniture hire, events, logistics, or warehousing highly regarded
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Forklift Licence (LF) advantageous but not essential
