We are looking for the right person to join our growing team in a full-time position as a Recruitment Consultant and work from our Melbourne office. Previous recruitment experience in the construction space would be beneficial. At Point Force Group we will provide all necessary training on our companies internal systems & processes.
About the role:
This role is perfect for someone with experience in recruitment and/or a background in the construction or labour hire space. You will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment including advertising for upcoming roles, screening and interviewing potential candidates and managing the onboarding of staff members. This is a full time office based role, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising roles, screening applications, interviewing candidates, and assisting with staff selection
- Record and manage job vacancy information such as role descriptions, remuneration, and employment conditions
- Maintain employee records and update HR information systems
- Provide guidance to management on workplace policies, staff performance matters, and HR procedures
- Support employee onboarding by organising inductions and providing information on employment conditions and benefits
- Communicate current job opportunities to internal stakeholders and potential candidates
- Assist in resolving workplace issues and ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards, and agreements
- Contribute to the development and implementation of workplace policies and employee engagement initiatives
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or above qualification
- Minimum 1 year of full-time relevant industry experience (or equivalent part-time experience)
- Knowledge of recruitment processes, HR systems, and workplace legislation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both employers and candidates.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in managing recruitment and HR documentation.
Desirable experience:
- Experience in or exposure to the construction or labour hire industry
- Experience with Alloc8 software or recruitment software
- Experience with social media marketing and running job ads
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
