About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2027
The Asset Management Data Specialist supports the VTDE Program by leading the migration, analysis, transformation and quality assurance of asset data. The role provides expert advice on asset data and migration strategies, working closely with stakeholders and delivery partners to implement enterprise asset management solutions, with significant experience in IBM Maximo required.
The role is responsible for establishing data quality and governance frameworks, developing asset data standards, leading technical resources, managing complex data risks, and building strong stakeholder relationships to support accurate, reliable asset information and successful program delivery. Other duties may be assigned in line with Section 31A of the Public Administration Act 2004 (Vic).

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
-
Extensive experience migrating data into IBM Maximo and implementing IBM Maximo solutions within complex enterprise environments (mandatory).

Experience configuring the IBM Maximo Integration Framework and a strong understanding of IBM Maximo data structures (mandatory).

A relevant tertiary qualification and experience in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, with significant experience delivering complex data or technology projects (desirable).
