Details: The ACT Government Solicitor (ACTGS) is the ACT Government’s central provider of legal services, delivering legal advice and representation to ACT Government agencies, ministers and statutory office holders.
We are seeking a motivated and capable Administrative Services Officer 5 (ASO5), Legal Support Team Leader to lead a team within the Legal Support Unit and contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal support services across ACTGS.
In this role, you will provide leadership, guidance and day-to-day management of a legal support team, ensuring work is allocated and delivered efficiently, professionally and in line with client needs. You will build and maintain strong working relationships with solicitors and stakeholders, oversee team workflows, support staff development, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, sound judgement, excellent organisational abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and business systems, together with an understanding of the ACTPS Values and workplace culture, will be highly regarded.
This opportunity is available for a period of up to six months.
