2-Car Carrier Truck Driver – Full Time
Star Car Carrier is looking for a reliable and professional 2-Car Carrier Truck Driver to join our growing vehicle transport team in Melbourne.
This is a full-time ongoing position transporting vehicles across Melbourne metro. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well and handles customers' vehicles with care.
About the Role
- Drive a 2-car carrier truck
- Pick up and deliver vehicles across Melbourne metro
- Load and unload vehicles safely
- Use our driver app for jobs, photos and PODs
- Communicate with our operations team and customers
- Look after the company truck and equipment
- Follow all company and road safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid MR or HR Licence
- Good driving history
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Confident driving trucks around Melbourne
- Comfortable loading and unloading vehicles
- Smartphone and basic ability to use mobile apps
- Good communication skills
- Must take care when handling customer vehicles
- Car carrier, towing or vehicle transport experience is preferred
Car carrier experience is preferred, however training can be provided to the right experienced truck driver.
Hours & Pay
- Full-time ongoing work
- Approximately 40–50 hours per week, depending on workload
- Regular Melbourne metro work
- Company truck provided
Operating Area
Melbourne Metro, including work around Dandenong, Clyde, Pakenham, Mornington, Frankston, Thomastown, Epping, Campbellfield, Somerton and surrounding areas.
