Tutoring4All – Piano Teacher
Tutoring4All is a home tutoring service offering individualised learning support to students across Primary School through to High School and HSC.
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Piano Teacher to provide individual piano lessons to students in their homes. The role is focused on developing students’ musical skills, confidence and enjoyment of learning piano, while tailoring lessons to suit each student’s ability and goals.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong piano skills and a genuine passion for teaching music
- Keen independence to direct lessons and adapt them to each student’s needs
- Availability on weekday afternoons and/or weekends
- Experience teaching primary and/or high school-aged students
- Ability to travel to students’ homes in the Inner West and surrounding areas
- A friendly, patient and encouraging approach to working with students
- Previous piano teaching experience is preferred
Qualifications & experience
- Must have completed school in NSW, including their HSC
- Previous piano teaching or tutoring experience is ideal but not essential
- Formal music qualifications or relevant piano experience are highly regarded
Tasks & responsibilities
- Providing individual piano lessons to primary and high school students
- Preparing lesson material appropriate to each student’s level and goals
- Developing students’ piano technique, music reading and performance skills
- Adapting lessons to suit each student’s learning style and interests
- Providing encouragement and constructive feedback
- Travelling to students’ homes for lessons
Travel requirements
Students are based primarily in the Inner West and surrounding suburbs. Please do not apply if you are unable to travel to students’ homes as required by the role.
Areas may include Five Dock, Russell Lea, Haberfield, Rodd Point, Concord, Lilyfield, Canterbury, Leichhardt, Hunters Hill, Greenacre, St Ives and adjacent suburbs.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

- Tutoring: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
