Children's Village Northmead is seeking a Nominated Supervisor to join our leadership team at our 71-place service.
This role is suited to an experienced early childhood professional who is confident supporting the day-to-day operation of a service and working closely with the Centre Director.

About the Role
As the Nominated Supervisor, you will work alongside the Centre Director to support the day-to-day running of the service. The Centre Director will oversee the service and be on site for most of the week; however, there will be times when you will be responsible for the operation of the service in their absence.
You will support the team, maintain compliance, build positive relationships with families, and help ensure the service operates to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of the service.
- Act as the Nominated Supervisor when required and ensure the service operates in accordance with the National Law and Regulations.
- Support educators and provide day-to-day guidance.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and the local community.
- Assist with maintaining occupancy and welcoming new families to the service.
- Work with the Centre Director to continually improve the quality of the service.
- Ensure the service meets the Child Safe Standards and that children's safety and wellbeing remain the highest priority.
About You
- Hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification.
- Have a good understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and EYLF.
- Have previous leadership experience in an early childhood service (2IC, Assistant Director, Educational Leader, Nominated Supervisor or Director).
- Can confidently support the team and make decisions when the Centre Director is away.
- Are organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
