About the Position
We are currently seeking a Fleet Scheduler to join our containers division on a full-time basis. Based in Kewdale, this position will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and coordination of our containers fleet.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Manage daily scheduling for our containers fleet, ensuring efficient use of the vehicles and timely deliveries
Work alongside dispatch teams to plan and optimise routes
Oversee the coordination of loading and unloading freight
Adhere to all safety standards
Plan operations to maximise vehicle efficiency and minimise delays
Maintain accurate records of schedules, fleet usage and client interactions
About you
To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Proven experience in fleet scheduling, ideally in the Transport and Logistics environment
Strong knowledge of container and wharf logistics and operations
MSIC-One Stop clearance desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management systems
Ability to work hours (10AM-5PM) Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays is required
