Experienced Pass Master – Premium Chinese Restaurant (Chadstone Shopping Centre)
*No experience do not apply* We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Pass Master to join our new premium Chinese restaurant opening at Chadstone Shopping Centre. This is a critical role within our operation. As the Pass Master, you will be responsible for coordinating communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring all dishes are presented correctly, delivered efficiently, and service runs smoothly during busy periods. Requirements: - Previous Pass Master experience in a busy premium Asian or Chinese restaurant - Experience working in high-volume venues with 150+ seats - Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese - Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with chefs, runners, supervisors, and management - Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under pressure - Excellent organisational and leadership skills - Must be available to work a rotating roster from Wednesday to Sunday Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate food service between the kitchen and front-of-house team - Check food quality, presentation, and order accuracy before dishes leave the kitchen - Ensure timely delivery of all orders to guests - Communicate special requests, dietary requirements, and service priorities to the kitchen team - Manage service flow during peak trading periods - Assist with training and supporting food runners - Monitor ticket times and maintain efficient service standards - Work closely with management and chefs to resolve service issues promptly Employment Details: - Immediate start available - Competitive hourly rate based on experience - Rotating roster between Wednesday and Sunday - Opportunity to work within a premium hospitality environment What We Are Looking For: This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
