Administration Assistant Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a Part-Time or Full-Time Administration Assistant to join the energetic and friendly team at Get Active Physiotherapy. With two busy clinics located in St Leonards, we’re seeking someone with a vibrant personality, excellent people skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for client care.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential, along with the ability to manage bookings, process payments, and use our practice management software efficiently.
This role also offers room for growth, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time and potentially progress into a senior administrative or practice management position.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Acting as the first point of contact via phone and face-to-face interactions
- Scheduling and managing client appointments
- Maintaining the practice diary
- Processing payments and issuing invoices
- Performing daily data entry tasks
- Liaising with health administration bodies
- Supporting general administrative functions
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage banking tasks accurately
- Positive attitude with a dedicated work ethic
- Professional presentation and friendly demeanour
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Desirable (but not essential):
- IT and social media skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
