The role:
The Client Director is a senior role at Initiative, requiring strong leadership, juggling multiple high-level projects at one time, and developing and negotiating multi-faceted partnerships. Directors must think strategically and work collaboratively with other disciplines and with client team leaders in Strategy, Communications Design and SBUs to deliver on client strategic goals and business objectives.
This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the client and internal team.
What will your day look like?
- Ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPI's in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to and author client proposals, recommendations, and points of view
- Manage all communications in a timely manner
- Build exceptional relationships with client leads and clients partner agencies
- Participate in all client briefings, and articulate client needs and objectives to key internal stakeholders
- Apply a client lens to all areas of Initiative product, ensuring solutions developed are business- appropriate and meet agreed-upon KPIs
- Manage team output and develop effective workflows ensuring quality delivery of work to the client
What will you bring?
- Proven media agency planning and or buying experience.
- At least 6 years experience within a Client Service/Account Management or Media Planning role
- Strong client management skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented, conscientious, ability to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work successfully within a team, handling multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines under pressure, and contributing creatively to the ideation process.
