About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller the Finance Assistant will support the Finance Department across a variety of functions, including:
- Providing support in financial systems such as Xero and Replicon
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable tasks including progress claims, invoicing, debtor management, and project controls/set-up
- Supporting Accounts Payable activities including reconciling statements and three-way matching
- Assisting with fortnightly payroll
- Gaining exposure to advanced finance functions, including GL reconciliations, month-end reporting, and statutory compliance
About You
- 3 years+ in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel is desirable
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
